Job Description

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT

In order to be shortlisted for the vacancy, the successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies, but not limited to:-

  • Diploma or higher in Shipping, Port Management, Transport and Logistics or a related field
  • At least two years of experience in the shipping or logistics industry
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Teamwork and collaboration abilities
  • Experience attending port or site operations is beneficial
  • Exposure to documentation for project or over dimensional cargo is an advantage

JOB DESCRIPTION

The role responsibilities will include, but not limited to:-

  • Monitor new pre alert shipments and ensure all documentation and compliance requirements are met
  • Support planning, coordinating, and executing operational processes
  • Maintain accurate records, files, and operation related documentation
  • Prepare reports, updates, and correspondence for ongoing shipments
  • Respond to customer and supplier queries in coordination with the Manager or Sales Head
  • Coordinate loading and unloading activities and ensure correct documentation is in place
  • Attend operations on site and in ports when required
