As a key contributor, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, analyzing, and facilitating the resolution of product and service issues. You’ll be instrumental in transforming raw customer feedback into actionable insights, ensuring that problems are not only solved but also prevented in the future. **What You’ll Do:**
- Champion the Voice of the Customer: Utilize comprehensive customer feedback sources, including warranty data, parts return information, and service reports, to gain deep insights into customer experiences and concerns. Actively identify patterns, trends, and recurring issues from this feedback.
- Identify and Triage Critical Issues: Analyze various data streams to pinpoint emerging issues and potential product or service problems. Prioritize these issues based on their severity, impact on customers, and potential risks, ensuring swift and efficient assignment to appropriate stakeholders.
- Develop Clear Problem Statements: Craft precise and thorough problem statements for identified issues, incorporating all relevant information from customer feedback and data analysis. Ensure these statements clearly define the issue, its customer impact, and essential context.
- Support Issue Resolution: Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, supplier and manufacturing quality, and customer service, to facilitate effective issue resolution. Provide guidance and support to issue owners, assisting with problem-solving and decision-making, and regularly update stakeholders on resolution progress.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in performance review meetings, identifying opportunities to enhance the issue management process and implementing improvements. Proactively gather feedback from both customers and internal teams to refine processes for capturing and addressing customer concerns.
**What You’ll Bring:**
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering.
* 5+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, supplier operations, or quality assurance.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical information, problem statements, and resolutions to diverse audiences.
* Demonstrated ability to collect, synthesize, and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and emerging issues from various sources.
* Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, customer interaction, and building strong working relationships.
* Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize issues effectively, and ensure timely resolution.
* Proven problem-solving capabilities.
* Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
**Must-Haves That Will Set You Apart:**
* Experience with database creation and management.
* Background in electrical systems.
* Knowledge of wiring principles and applications.
